Spyder 2 Pro Windows 7 Driver
For example, the default mobile port is 34599, so you could use Vmeye or Vmeye+, ect. If you know which app can work with your DVR, but not know what its default mobile port is, you could refer to this sheet as well, if you didn’t change it before. If you have one DVR, if you know the default mobile port, but not know which app can work with your DVR, you could refer to this sheet.
Nov 14, 2012 I also have a Spyder 2 that I can't install in WIndows 7. I've tried the vista signed 64 bit install from colorvision's website and it didn't work. I can't use the vista solution linked above because I don't have vista 32 or 64. I've also tried the new F8 and go into 'Allow non signed driver' mode and that didn't work either. Windows 7 IT Pro > Windows 7 Hardware Compatibility. Right click on the Spyder and update the driver from C: Program Files (x86) Datacolor Spyder3 Driver. Datacolor released 2.3.6, which worked well on my Windows 7 64-bit system. Though the support page states only XP and Vista, it will work on Win7.
I'm not certain what specifically caused the problem. Like I said, multiple things were changed and this was a guess. I think the true issue stemmed from a bios update which did not set the system back to RAID initially. After getting things semi-working I kept getting BSOD and the generic error message pointed to a device. And Spyder3 was the most recent device; plus when I initially installed it the driver wasn't accepted and I had to manually udpate it. But once I re-installed windows, and all software, it's been working fine since.
I learned my lesson about BIOS updates. Thanks for replying.
