Bosch Official Hi Lee, Thanks for your question regarding Bosch SMS68M02AU / SMS68M12AU Dishwasher. Please try the following 1. Are the glasses dishwasher proof? Please also avoid a long steam phase (standing time after cycle finishes) open the door and allow air into/escape the dishwasher. Please try the wash cycle on a lower temperature to prevent excess steam/condensation effect.

Regards, Bosch Home Australia. Yes, I found out that it is not economically viable to purchase and install a new control board, and we have dumped our machine. We have purchased a simple basic Dishlex machine for less than half the price that we paid for the Bosch unit and are very happy with it. If we only get 5 years out of this unit, we are still way ahead. In my opinion, it is definitely not worth paying the very expensive price for the Bosch unit. I believe that machines with minimal electronics are the best type to purchase.
We have a Bosch SMS68M02AU/23 model approx. A few months ago 'E24 Check Water' message appeared randomly but we would reset the machine and it worked fine. In the past month or so the 'E24 Check Water' comes up every time we start it (on every cycle). We sometimes can't use the machine for many days, much to our complete anger and frustration. We have tried everything and have narrowed down the problem and it's not a water, pump or blockage issue. If we start the machine, let it go for 1 minute, open and close the door, then it runs perfectly right to the end. I use this stupid method and it works each time, full cycle complete.
The problem is 'there is a problem' and each time I start the dishwasher I have to wait 1 minute and open and close the door - this is bloody ridiculous!!!! Clearly there is a problem with the control panel or similar as when the door gets opened something resets and the water comes into the machine.
Any real guaranteed suggestions? If the lights accross the bottom come up (special salt looks like a yin-yang and rinse aid looks like a sunshine) then you can fill up with more special salt and rinse aid to make these lights go out, but I don't think that will help much with E25 error.
E25 and E24 are to do with draining. But there are unfortunately many reasons why your dishwasher may not be draining! First, try removing the drain hose from your sink drain and make sure the drain hose is not clogged using a long wire or similar. Second, try cleaning out the filter. Third, try opening the pump chamber inside the filter area and see if you can spin the pump with your finger, and feel for any debris, like nuts, elastic bands, toothpicks etc and pull them out. (probably good to shut off power here!) I found a broken piece of glass once. There's a good youtube video here: which has a few more ideas.
If you still get these errors after trying the above steps, then it may be your drainage pump is not working. This could be because it is broken, but it could also just be jammed with hair or an elastic band around the shaft. You can't reach the shaft from here. There's a good video on how to replace your pump (or just remove the debris from the shaft) on youtube After following the instructions, I found that I had E15 errors as well, which means that the first step he mentions 'you need to dry out the compartment completely.
